Defining Studios Photo & Video is a professional photography and cinematic film production company that caters primarily to event and promotional needs across a wide range of clientele including the non-profit sector, the arts, community engagement, product and organizations, as well as schools and universities. We were founded in 2007 by Heather and Roger Castonguay, two University of Hartford graduates with Bachelors of Fine Arts degrees from the Hartford Art School.

Our company provides photo and video services to over 350 events per year. Along with corporate portraits, promotional/ product, performance, and architectural photography. We create promotional cinematic pieces or event highlights that can include drone and time-lapse video with our staff of cinematographers. Our department managers help you book your dates, build production schedules, and capture every detail of your event or and the best of your organization.
